Town of Lunenburg, Town Center, Lunenburg, MA CYMA 2 was asked to determined the condition of existing municipal property and buildings for the Town Center of Lunenburg and to prepare alternative conceptual plans for future use of land and buildings. This was part of the long range plan update undertaken by the Town of Lunenburg. The report presented to Lunenburg included three conceptual plans for the use of municipal land and buildings in the Town Center. Aldo included were design guidelines for both public and private buildings with specific attention to guidelines for historic structures. This Town Center has been designated a National Register Historic District. The Town of Lunenburg must make a decision in the near future about these existing buildings that are soon to become unoccupied as a result of new construction for various functions that will be moving to the new buildings.
