Comfort Station, Waterfront Interpretive Center, Plymouth, MA
This comfort station, designed as part of the Plymouth Rock master plan, was constructed in the first phase of an interactive museum whose theme revolved around the historic waterfront. The building's primary function is to house public toilet facilities. It has been designed for constant use and full handicapped accessibility. The architecture of the comfort station is reminiscent of early wharf structures built in the 1800's.
